Skechers is one of the largest shoe companies in the United States and is headquartered at Manhattan Beach, California. The Moreno Valley distribution center of Skechers consists of state-of-the-art technology and is a 1.82-million-square-foot distribution center. The Moreno Valley distribution center was opened in late 2011. The pay is higher in this warehouse as compared with others and much of the work is automated. The entire warehouse is a green-building which implements energy saving features such as solar panels. So let’s take a look at the employment opportunities there.

Skechers was founded in the year 1992 by C.E.O Robert Greenberg and his son Michael. Robert had also founded the company L.A Gear in 1983. He left LA Gear to begin Skechers in 1992. Michael was a distributor for the Company Doc Martens. They were embroiled in a legal dispute with Doc Martens over the shoes of their company being knock-offs of Doc Marten products.
